Oak Openings Best Management Practices

The following documents provide detailed information on invasive species management in the Oak Openings, including guidelines for mechanical, chemical, and biological treatments, prevention of spread by equipment, and specific methods for individual species. Land managers are encouraged to print and collate the BMP’s in a binder for staff to have readily available in the field.
